Window awning systems are designed for coordinated integration into the façade. Depending on the product and construction, they can be planned with external thermal insulation composite systems, installed in suitable existing shafts or mounted visibly within the window reveal.

Window awning systems can be configured with different guidance types to suit the façade design, required dimensions and tested wind-load conditions. Available options depend on the selected FSM variant:

• Rail guidance: lateral guidance for defined system dimensions and a clear edge along the façade
• Cable guidance: slim lateral guidance for a reduced visual profile
• zip screens : easyZIP retains the fabric edge in the side guide rails. Wind-load performance depends on the product, dimensions, fabric, installation and tested configuration.
• A markisolette combines a vertically guided upper section with a projecting lower section to retain daylight and a partial outward view.
• drop arm awnings : the lower edge projects away from the façade, providing exterior shading while retaining a partial view beneath the fabric.

WAREMA window awning systems use coordinated and partially preassembled components. The installation sequence depends on the product, façade build-up, fixing substrate, dimensions and site access.

• Coordinated components: box, guides and end rail are matched to the selected system
• Preassembled elements: the delivered assembly level depends on the product variant
• Guide-based alignment: guide rails provide defined reference points during installation
• Row planning: dimensions and axes must be coordinated for continuous façade arrangements

The WAREMA Colour World includes selected powder-coated finishes for the cover panel, guide rails and end rail. Available colours can be coordinated with the façade or used as a contrasting design element.
