WAREMA conservatory roof blinds protect conservatories, glass extensions and patio roofs from heat and glare. Each awning is made to measure and adapted to the roof geometry, installation position and architectural design.
WAREMA conservatory roof blinds are designed for classic conservatories, modern patio roofs and bespoke glass architecture. Each roof awning is made to measure and provides effective sun, heat and glare protection.
Choose from external conservatory awnings or internal roof blinds, with different fabrics, colours, controls and accessories to suit the glass roof and installation requirements.
With the WAREMA configurator , you can compare suitable conservatory roof blinds and configure a made-to-measure solution. Select fabrics from the current collection, frame colours, controls and compatible accessories.
External conservatory awnings are installed above the glass. They intercept much of the solar radiation before it reaches the glazing, helping to reduce heat build-up while providing stable, guided fabric tension.
An under-glass conservatory awning is installed beneath the glazing, where the fabric is protected from rain, dirt and direct weather exposure. It provides reliable glare control, visual privacy and comfortable shading for the interior.
Conservatory roof blinds are guided shading systems for glass roofs. Depending on the model, they are installed externally above the glazing or internally beneath it.
Unlike self-supporting patio awnings, conservatory roof blinds run in guide rails. The guided fabric remains tensioned and stable across the glass surface.
External above-glass installation
External conservatory awnings are installed above the glass roof and intercept much of the solar radiation before it reaches the glazing.
Travelling reinforcement profile
The fabric is attached to a spring-steel strip that runs under tension in the guide rail. A travelling reinforcement profile provides additional fabric tension and stability.
WMS sensor system
The WMS sensor system for the Climara W20 responds to wind, sunlight and precipitation. For example, it retracts the awning automatically when wind levels become critical.
Cover panel shape
In addition to the rounded cover panel, an angular cover panel is available as an option for the Climara W10 and Climara W20.
Under-glass installation
An under-glass conservatory awning is installed beneath the glass roof. This position protects the fabric from dirt, rain and direct weather exposure.
LED strips
Remotely controlled and dimmable LED strips can be integrated into the guide rails of the Climara W10. An angular light rail profile is available to match the optional angular cover panel.
secudrive® technology
The patented guide system reduces light gaps between the fabric and guide rail, maintains reliable fabric tension and improves wind stability.
Drop valance
The drop valance provides additional shading when the sun is low, for example on west-facing glazing. It is available for the Climara W10 and W9 models.
- Drive and running direction: Conservatory awnings are motor-driven. Control is usually via radio. As standard, the running direction is from top to bottom.
- Fabric tension: To keep the fabric taut even at low pitch angles and prevent sagging, the models use different technical solutions, such as counter-tension technology, secudrive technology, gas pressure springs or a spring mechanism for special shapes.
- Smart control and protection: Functionality is complemented by automation systems, including WMS sensor technology, for example.

Complete your conservatory roof blinds with compatible controls, sensors, LED lighting, radiant heaters and insect screens. Vertical awnings, external venetian blinds or roller shutters can provide additional shading for glazed façades.
External conservatory awnings are the more effective option for reducing solar heat gain because they shade the glass from outside. Under-glass conservatory awnings keep the fabric protected from rain, dirt and direct weather exposure.
External conservatory awnings reduce heat build-up most effectively because they intercept solar radiation before it passes through the glazing.
Climara D3 is designed for special geometries such as triangular or trapezoidal surfaces. Climara W7 is suitable for hipped or sloping roofs because the fabric can extend beyond the guide rails.
The price depends on the selected model, exact dimensions, roof geometry, fabric price group, controls and optional accessories. A specialist retailer calculates the final quotation for the made-to-measure system.
Combine external or under-glass conservatory roof blinds with vertical awnings or external venetian blinds. This provides coordinated sun and glare protection for both the glass roof and vertical glazing.
