The AR function in the WAREMA Configurator provides a camera-based preview for supported patio awnings, pergola awnings and slat roofs directly in the browser. It can help compare product appearance, colours and proportions in the intended surroundings. The AR image is a visualisation and does not replace final measurement or technical planning.
Select a supported patio awning, pergola awning or slat roof in the WAREMA Configurator and start the configuration. On a compatible mobile device, AR can be opened in the browser. A configuration started on desktop can be transferred to a mobile device by QR code where this function is available.
If you open the Configurator directly on a smartphone or tablet, you can use the AR visualisation immediately during configuration. The visualisation starts directly in the browser.
If the configuration is started on a desktop PC or laptop, the result can be easily transferred to a mobile device via QR code. After scanning, the configuration opens automatically in the mobile device’s browser and can be viewed in AR immediately.
After selecting a product, choose from the available settings for dimensions, colours, functions and equipment. The WAREMA Configurator updates the visualisation as the configuration changes.
The WAREMA Configurator supports selected awnings, slat roofs and sun sails. Available equipment can include radiant heaters, lighting and valance roller blinds, depending on the product.
Shade simulation visualises how the displayed shadow changes with the selected settings and simulated sun position. It is a planning aid; actual shade depends on installation, orientation, surroundings and conditions.
The WAREMA Configurator generates a visualisation of the selected product and configuration. You can view the model from different angles in the virtual setting.

The former augmented reality application “WAREMA Designer” is no longer being developed or updated. WAREMA recommends using the AR functions in the WAREMA Configurator for currently supported product visualisation.
