The GrandSlide is installed on the outside of large lift and slide doors or on the inside of glass folding doors.
Operation is easy using the handle rail and requires little force. The side roller blind moves horizontally in an upper and lower guide rail and can be stopped in any position with the help of a sophisticated pull system. During this process, the gauze is rolled up and unrolled vertically on a shaft.
The insect screen roller blind can be used as a two-wing unit with no central upright needed. This allows openings with a width of up to 5000 mm to be protected against insects, extending the area to 14 square metres.
The VisionAir Maxi gauze has been specially designed to roll up and unroll in the GrandSlide insect screen roller blind. It is made of a tightly woven, vinyl-coated polyester mesh and is extremely tear-resistant. It is also weather-proof and offers a good view out. When retracted, it completely disappears into a powder-coated aluminium cassette, which protects it from wind and dust.
Another advantage is that, with lift and slide doors for example, it offers an unimpeded view through the entire width of the doors when retracted – unlike insect screen sliding doors, which are parked in front of the fixed element.
