WAREMA insect screens make every window an insurmountable obstacle for large and small pests - even when retrofitted.
Fixed window screen are suitable for windows that are regularly opened for ventilation but are not used as a passage. Depending on the version, the made-to-measure frame can be hung in, clamped in place or permanently fixed. Fixed frames are also suitable for retrofitting. The window and any existing roller shutter remain fully functional.
A roller fly screen can be opened or closed using a handle rail. When the insect screen is not required, the mesh retracts into a compact cassette where it remains protected. This solution provides flexible insect protection throughout the year. It is also suitable for windows where a permanently visible fixed frame is not preferred.
For new builds and extensive renovation projects, the insect screen can be combined with selected WAREMA roller shutters or external venetian blinds. Depending on the system, the solution is integrated at the factory or prepared for subsequent installation.
The insect screen is operated using an aluminium handle rail. A brush seal closes the lower edge and helps keep insects outside.
WAREMA also offers retractable skylight insect screen. The screen is installed on the inside and operates in a similar way to a roller blind.
It can be opened or closed using a handle rail. When not in use, the mesh retracts into the cassette. This allows the skylight to remain open for ventilation while flies and mosquitoes stay outside.
