Max-Joseph-Straße is one of the most prestigious streets in Munich. In close proximity to the city's old town, the English Garden, the Hofgarten and the Bavarian State Chancellery, most of the buildings in the area are marked with brightly polished brass plates to signify the ministries, law firms, notaries, chambers of commerce and insurance providers that inhabit them. Patio covers create added value in the food service industry
The Conti Restaurant, located in Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft, is an address that lives up to these exacting standards. With exquisite cuisine and an ambience to match, the inside spaces seat up to 100 guests, with space for an additional 45 guests outside on the sun patio. The patio has now been extensively equipped with a waterproof pergola awning to allow the patio to be used to serve guests virtually all-year round, from spring to long into Autumn.
Designing covers for an urban setting shaped by irregular facades and a varied tree population requires tailor-made solutions. Maximum comfort paired with top stability
The impressive weather protection offered by the P70 unit can largely be attributed to the weatherproof fabric, which is guided by innovative pleating technology, and the motor drive with a toothed belt. The drive keeps the fabric taut in all positions, achieving a high level of wind stability up to wind force 7, namely wind speeds of up to 61 km/h, and ensuring that no pockets of water capable of causing malfunctions form, even at a slight incline. This guarantees controlled water drainage at all times. The transverse frames at the front function as fully integrated drainage gutters, guiding water running off the blinds directly to the outer poles, where the rainwater is directed downwards without being noticed by guests.
The awnings and accessories can be conveniently operated electronically using the WMS hand-held transmitter comfort. Commands are transmitted from one receiver to another via a mesh network. This makes it possible to communicate with products located at a distance.
The sunshade receivers not only execute the move commands, but also actively confirm them. Thanks to optical feedback, users know that the sun shading system is in the desired position. Different comfort positions can be individually retrieved and saved.
Guests can remain sitting without any hassle once its starts to rain. It's almost romantic to sit there listening to the soft patter of rain in the summer. Most importantly, both our guests and us, as the host, no longer have to worry about people suddenly needing to leave or the need to keep seats free inside, etc. We can now continue to use outdoor areas instead.
