The integrated wind and sun sensor
Optionally available for conservatory awnings of type W6 and W8.

Wind movements can be measured directly on the fabric using a sensor in the cover panel
.
The signals are then evaluated by an electronic system, which retracts the
fabric if wind speeds become excessively high.

The integrated wind control is supplemented by an external
light sensor that is powered by a small solar cell.
This sensor may be mounted at virtually any location, independent of
the awning. The measured values are transmitted to the
control unit in the awning by radio signal and cause either the retraction or
extension of the awning, depending on the level of sunlight.
