External venetian blinds are principally comparable with indoor venetian blinds, but are designed to be much more robust for outdoor use: The slats and technology readily withstand extreme weather conditions.
WAREMA external venetian blinds type C/E 80 or C/E 94 with light guidance equipment convert the entire workplace into a glare-free zone, even when the sun is at its lowest point. They also effectively shield screens in the direct vicinity of the window from the sun's rays. The room is nevertheless evenly lit and artificial lighting can be dispensed with during the day.
This effect is provided by custom-made light guidance equipment that divides the external venetian blind into two sections with different slat opening angles. When the external venetian blind is in the "working position", the lower half of the blind remains closed. This protects computer screens from direct sunlight. The upper slats, on the other hand, reflect the incident light onto the room ceiling, from where it is distributed to the rest of the room.

In the "working position", the lower slats are closed to ward off sunlight and provide an anti-glare workplace, while the slats of the upper section reflect the light onto the ceiling to evenly illuminate the room. |
